Good Sunday morning to you all! It’s link day and I’m heavy on the environment today, which really isn’t all that unusual. It usually starts when I read or hear some client change denier spout off something completely unfounded during the week and I grind my teeth just waiting for Sunday to hit so I can “green” it up here at Pie Daddy.
But, let me start out with Whoopie; as in Whoopie Pie. The link below contains a gluten free and vegan recipe by Carol Kicinski at Simply Gluten Free. Yummy! Even without the attached recipe I would link this just because of the mouth watering photo. Thanks for this Carol, I know I’ll be trying my hand at making these very soon. Enjoy.

This next one is a quick story about the EPA. This organization takes a huge bashing from a great many people, whether they like the EPA or not, but this article explains a compromise about industrial air pollution. If you know me, I’m a big proponent for cleaner air. It’s a mostly ignored debate now, but it’s good to know we are still on it, regardless of how I feel about the compromise.

And this may be a week old, but my girl Maria Rodale states her case directly to our President on a subject completely off the radar of our less than educated populace. Plug here: just read Maria’s book, Organic Manifesto: How Organic Farming Can Heal Our Planet, Feed the World, and Keep Us Safe and realize just how far down the rabbit hole we are concerning toxic chemicals and our food. Thanks for all you do Maria!

And, I’ll leave you with very cool photo montage of a tree house restaurant. Yes, you read that correctly.
